Tierra del Fuego National Park in Winter

This reserve is located 12 km from the city, and the tour begins when the guide picks up each passenger from their corresponding hotel or accommodation. One of the included stops is at the End of the World Train Station, where you can choose to take the train or continue with the tour guide. If you want to take the train, it’s essential to make a reservation in advance; otherwise, we can’t guarantee seat availability.

Inside the Park, we will discover the most emblematic places surrounded by nature. We will visit Lake Roca or Acigami, a stunning glacial lake located on the border between Argentina and Chile, the Alakush Visitor Center, and finally, the end of National Route No. 3. At Lapataia Bay, where the Pan-American Highway ends, we will uncover all the secrets of the park while enjoying the feeling of being at the End of the World.

Returning to the city, the excursion concludes at the Tourist Dock since many of our visitors will take a boat tour on the Beagle Channel.

The End of the World Train ride is complementary to the National Park excursion and invites you to relive the last 7 km of the old prisoner train route, which departed from the Ushuaia prison to the slope of Mount Susana to obtain different materials for construction.

Aboard the train, you will explore a part of the Park that is outside the public use area, relive history, and delight in magnificent landscapes, including the Pipo River, Macarena Waterfall, the tree cemetery, and the majestic Nothofagus forest descending from the Andes Mountains. With its steam locomotives and elegant cars featuring large windows, the train offers an almost unmissable sensory experience.
