A 60-kilometer ride (round trip) introduces us to a natural environment and the wonderful landscapes of San Carlos de Bariloche!
A 60 kilometer round trip takes us into a natural environment and the wonderful landscapes of San Carlos de Bariloche. The excursion showcases, in different sections, the shores of Nahuel Huapi and Moreno lakes. Upon leaving the city center – via Ezequiel Bustillo Avenue – we arrive at Playa Bonita, where you can see Huemul Island. At kilometer 17, you’ll find Cerro Campanario, which offers an incredible panoramic view of all the surrounding lakes and mountains. Many tourists attempt to hike to the summit (1050 meters), while others opt for the chairlift. At kilometer 25, you’ll see the Llao Llao Hotel, an icon of Bariloche, as well as the San Eduardo Chapel and Pañuelo Port (the starting point for excursions on Lake Nahuel Huapi).
The journey continues through Llao Llao Municipal Park, crosses Angostura Bridge where Lake Moreno and Lake Huapi converge, and offers a view of Bahía López and Cerro Capilla. Further ahead, you’ll find one of the most important panoramic viewpoints on the route. From there, you can appreciate the Llao Llao Peninsula along with the surrounding lakes all together. It’s a classic postcard view of Bariloche. To conclude, you have to cross the Moreno Lake Bridge and then see Laguna El Trébol. Next, you’ll follow Av. Bustillo, which is the mandatory section to return to the city
