Lago Escondido and Winter Centers

The hotel pickup starts at 8 in the morning and lasts approximately one hour. During this time, the guide will pick up each passenger, and after gathering everyone, we will take Route No. 3 to cross the Carbajal Valley, where, if conditions allow, we will make our first stop at the viewpoint, and the guide will explain what we see.

Next, we will continue towards Las Cotorras Winter Center, crossing the Tierra Mayor Valley. At Las Cotorras, we will stop to appreciate the landscape and optionally participate in all the winter activities offered there, such as snowmobile rides, snowshoeing, or using the sleds and sleighs available in the vehicles. The availability of the latter activities will depend on snow and safety conditions, as indicated by the guide.

Also, at the Las Cotorras Winter Center, we will have lunch at the restaurant and then continue our journey towards the head of Lake Escondido. On the way, we will make a stop at the Lake Viewpoint, and if road conditions permit, we will also visit the Haruwen Winter Center.

To reach the viewpoint, we will climb the Andes Mountains through a winding road that will lead us to the lake. If the clouds allow, in addition to Lake Escondido, we may also see Lake Fagnano in the distance on the horizon.

After this, we will return to the city after having enjoyed nature and winter in all its splendor.
