Discover the Beagle Channel aboard a CATAMARAN with comfortable seating, enjoying the best panoramic views. You’ll have the chance to appreciate marine life and learn about the history of the channel that connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. This tour visits Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, Sea Lion Island, and Cormorant Island.

The boat approaches the shore on each island, allowing you to observe the wildlife living in the channel. On one of the islets within the channel, there will be a landing for a short hike to a viewpoint with views of the city and the mountains (subject to weather conditions). The catamarans are enclosed and heated, with the option to go out to the deck and offer cafeteria service.

The first part of the CATAMARAN tour is identical to the Short Navigation. After visiting the Islands of birds, sea lions, and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, we continue along the Beagle Channel until we reach Martillo Island.

There, we will find Papuan and Magellanic penguins. The observation is done from the top of the catamaran. There is no disembarking on the island.
