Winter Activities to do in Ushuaia in June
In the valley area is where more snow accumulates and lasts throughout the winter season, therefore, it is in this area where you can enjoy the most of what San Copo can give us. Here are the activities that are taking place in June 2021.
Cross Country Skiing
You can now enjoy cross-country skiing in the valley. This activity can be done by the whole family and no previous experience is required. If you are about to travel to Ushuaia we recommend a day of skiing.
Snowmobile
There are also snowmobile tours through the valley floor, through trails that have been specially paved and laid out for this activity. The motorcycles are led by each passenger and a motorcycle guide follows them. The routes are 5, 10 and 15 km long. If you are a nature and adventure lover, you cannot miss our guided tour to Escondido and Fagnano Ushuaia lakes.
What to wear to Ushuaia in June?
To come to the south you must bring a lot of warm clothes for the cold, frost and snow, that is why we recommend you to bring several layers of clothing, and use the lightest and thinner ones close to the skin, such as a long sleeve thermal t-shirt, a polar sweater and a snow jacket. It is also essential to have warm and waterproof clothing with boots, gloves, trousers, snow jacket, hat and scarf.
